Eligibility for Parishioner's Scholarship
The financial support of the school is shared by the entire parish community. However, this financial responsibility is primarily the obligation of the parents who enroll their children in St. Rose of Lima School. Timely payment of tuition and fees is expected and required of every family having children in the school.

The parish offers additional financial aid for those families in need.
The program is similar to the Tuition Assistance Program used by the archdiocesan high schools. The Parish also has applications for BLOCS grants. Anyone interested in applying for Financial Aid should request information form the school or the Rectory Business Office. Financial Aid is limited based upon the parish's capabililties. Applications for Fianancial Aid must be completed by April 30, 2009. decisions will be made by May 31, 2009. BLOCS grants are subject to BLOCS timing for award and timing. Payment for tuition can be made either complete by August 15th (a 2% reduction will be given); over three periods August 15th, November 15th and February 15th; over 10 months with payments due monthly on the 15th beginning August 15th ending on May 15th.

Books and Supplies
Pennsylvania State Law Act 195 authorizes the loan of textbooks by the Secretary of Education to children enrolled in non public schools. Act 90 authorizes the loan of instructional materials. These laws do not cover the purchase of textbooks and workbooks that are religious in nature. The school is required to have a signed form on file from each family who benefits from this. Forms will be sent home in the beginning of the school year. Books must be covered and transported to and from school in a book bag. Individual teachers will instruct the students on appropriate covers for textbooks and workbooks. Lost and/or damaged books will be replaced at the student's expense. A list of supplies required for the school year is sent home in June with the students. Students are expected to return to school in September fully prepared with supplies. Lists for new students to the school will be mailed in June.
